I doubt you'll find an off the shelf turbo kit for your car. It's not exactly a common conversion.

You'd probably find a lot of parts will need to be custom made.

It's well known that AFH internals are pretty weak and hence not suitable for forced induction so you're looking at new rods and pistons. Stinkypete has a build thread in the mk2 section here so have a look at that for an idea of the work involved. `

Not easy mate, they don't like boost

Standard AFH's worked with low boost steup's, as have the later 6n2 style 16v's which use the same internals.

But the Internet says they are too weak so it must be true.

Mclovin is right, but I assumed you'd be running high boost pressures. Should have confirmed.

As for an off the shelf products kits I'm not aware of them (or any other engine for that matter) but as I said, take a look at pete's thread to get an idea of what's needed. Etches in the mk3 build thread forum has some good info too although it's for an 8v the principles are the same

Thanks to everyone one here I'm now thinking off putting a 1.8t but I want talking to some guy and he said I can use the kit from the Renault 5 turbo don't know if that's true

You can use the carb from a renault 5 like my car, but 1.8t would be awesome.
