Blistien coilovers any good, eBay they are 600-700£ overpriced?

You get what you pay for. The best are £1500+ per corner.....

Just want damn site better than the ones I have, if blistien are worth 700 then I have no issue forking that much out

Head banging the roof? How tall are you?

I'm 6'1" and have run a few decked 6n Polos in the past doing 80miles a day on cheap coilovers and never had that much of an issue.

If I were you though I'd save a bit of cash and buy a fixed height spring and shock kit. You'll get a decent 60mm drop kit with adjustable dampers for around £400.

Lol head doesn't actually hit the roof, just my way of saying the ride is unbearable, I'm looking for handling and the coilovers I have at present dosnt give me any confidence at all!

I was always under the impression that coilovers were better than the fixed hight springs and damper kits for handling, am I wrong the? 60mm seems a little low to me.

I'll be honest, the only issue I ever had with cheap coilovers was the fact I had the car on the floor. Handling was fine as was the ride all things considered.

Have you had the tracking done since you lowered it?

There is no right or wrong answer in regards to coilovers Vs fixed height springs and shocks. With both you get what you pay for really.

For a short time I did run a SPAX 60mm fixed height, damping adjustable kit on one of my 6n's, Once I had the shocks adjusted to where I was happy the handling was fantastic. I also used to run Yokohama tyres so they will have helped too.

60mm is nothing on a 6n, still very speed bump friendly at that height. How low are you just now?
