Car drives really well, brakes and steering are good

Interior in Good Condition, although previous owner did decide to paint the air vents silver, which is a little bit Marmite!

Bodywork in Pretty Good Shape (apart from rust)

There is RUST below the rear drivers side window, a little on the rear arches (as all polos) and a bubble on drivers side seal,

these are not MOT failures but the car would benefit with some TLC to bring her up to standard

*THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THE CAR IS THAT IT HAS LOST REVERSE GEAR, WONT SELECT IT AT ALL, STILL DRIVES FORWARD IN THE OTHER GEARS FINE SO CAN BE DRIVEN AWAY LOCALLY , BUT DOES LEAK OIL FROM WHAT LOOKS LIKE GEARBOX WHEN HOT (SO AT YOUR RISK)!!*

*THIS IS THE REASON FOR SELLING THE CAR AS IT WAS SURPLAS TO REQUIREMENTS, BUT ALWAYS HANDY TO HAVE SPARE

AT THE WEEKENDS*

These little polos are cracking little cars and will be sorry to see it go, they are also becoming quite rare now with a rag top roof, this would make a ideal project for someone who is handy with a set on spanners.
