Right I've just managed to get some G60 calliper carriers and was hoping to up rate all my brakes I was just wondering if I have to defiantly shave that 2mm off the slider pins and if anyone could recommend any braided brake lines

why are you wanting to shave 2mm off the slider pins? Are you not using the pins that came with the carriers?

Yeah I'm using the same pins but according to this http://www.clubpolo.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=76514 i need to take that 2mm off else fresh pads wont fit :S but I'm not 100% sure where this 2mm needs to come off any advice by anyone thats done this would be great :)

Fresh pads will fit, but you need to use polo 6n2 GTI ones to fit without modifying anything

If you want to use G60 pads, then youll need to shave them down as the pads are slightly thicker.

Ahh ideal that makes life easier as I've striped all brakes got them shot blasted and powder coated just have to put back on the car now thanks bud
