Evening all, I have yet another boring question to put to the masses. I'd like to replace all my seatbelts for new ones but this one http://www.gsfcarparts.com/890vg0030 from gsf is not correct despite putting my reg no. into the site. It wasn't until I tried to fit it that I realised the mk2 has three small bits of bodywork bent inward towards the back seat bench in a sort of this shape \ _ / which fits into the holes on the seatbelt reel to ensure it's mounted perfectly straight.

I have found a number of them for sale on ebay but I idealy want to fit brand new ones. I've searched VW heritage and had no luck so far.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be very grateful.

If you have the Catalogue Number then you can try searching for it in BKS-Tuning.

all of their parts are brand new even for older cars, I got myself a new door grab handle for my 6n2

theres places you can send them away to and they refurbish them , can even get differant colour belts

Nice work nige. That's one part of the problem solved, now I need to find somewhere that actually stocks those codes.

I have taken a look at the part number on my seat belt this evening and it is indeed 867857706B for the drivers side so I would say that the numbers posted above by Nige are spot on. If anyone knows where I can find a set of these new I would be chuffed to bits.
