Please does anyone have some Mk2 inlet valves with the 7mm stems (not 8mm) I bent some by mistake.

If you are unable to obtain any,but can get the 8.00 mm ones, I would suggest that you use a stand drill to re-drill the valve guides to 7.5 mm, then use a reamer to finish them to size.

I have a spare mk2 head, I will see what size the valves are and report back

Thanks for the feedback. The amazing men in Carparts found some for £10 each so they can still be bought. I would recommend this particular branch in Vale Road Portslade, East Sussex because the guys go the extra mile.

Unless you want the 7mm valves for the extra space they give in the inlet port, you can convert between 7mm and 8mm valves by using the appropriate valve guides
