Last night at work I was searching for an orange mk2f race car I seen in a CP members default picture and tried to find more of it, i managed to find more and thought it may be a good idea to post some race car pictures that we might have seen or saved in the past.

Ooft, the gulf one looks the dogs! not even seen any of those pics before

3rd and 2nd last pictures appear to have golf gti arches. I'm sold.

Wish I could have those arches on my bready...too much work though

Love pic number 3 there Alex, great action shot! The white rally car second and third from last looks absolutely stunning

My old PC has masses of Polo pics, going back to when I bought my car. I'm sure there are more on there.

More than cool. Makes me want to fit big box arches and a wing on my bready. Shame none of these kits are avaliable

It wouldn't be too difficult to get one built up the arches on that Mk1 aren't that complicated a shape. But yes it'd be pricey as a custom job.

I'm not a fan of the newer Polos....but those two WRC Polo R's look ace!

Yeah me too, the wide body transforms the look of the car, been smashing wrc the past few years too [emoji4]

Actually just checked and vw won with the polo wrc car in 2013, 2014 and 2015, seem to be chasing a record here ☺

Record for consecutive wins is lancia with 6 and then Citroën with 5. Most wins in total is lancia with 10 so that records a long way off lol

A few of my rally Polos

Ooo this is a good thread, love a good race car! Few from my folder of 6N's that I've found over the years....

Dont suppose anyone has the VW Motorsport catalogue for the 6N do they? this it was for the rally series they did in Germany. Never managed to find a copy online....

Love the trail of killed slalom cones behind the silver 6n number plate GI-N-1400...

They seem to big on slalom type events in Germany, think they use all the old air strips for them. I presume all the hill climb cars enter them when they're not climbing hills...
