Its a 1.4 TDI SE in red. Unfortunately the PO took off the GTI grill 😞 but I'm not to bothered about that heres some pics.

I have a few plans in mind for it but this is my new daily whilst the other motor is of the road as thats getting the big turbo/stroker treatment to get around 400hp 😎

Few things i want to know

1) is the SE model remote central locking as I've no blip key ?

2) I'm planning coilovers but unsure which alloys to go for 15" or 16" and whats widest wheels that will go on ideally low offset and no spacers. Whats CB and is 4x100 correct pcd ?

3) will a GTI centre and rear exhaust like the sportex ones on ebay fit the 1.4TDI with a reducer and can these go through MOT emissions with no CAT ?

Centre bore will be 57.1 and 4x100 is correct. Doubt it will go through emissions with no CAT, as surely that's the point of a CAT?

Its a vw diesel I'm sure it has software to pass emissions even without a cat

Is there a thread with cheap upgrades people could copy n paste here.

I will try keep this thread updated but like i said main priority is the B5 as the polo will just be getting a sort of 'scene' look to it as its just my cheap daily so it doesnt have to be to my standards like the B5 does lol

Bodywork wise its not immaculate, corrosion to wings mainly front as had mudflaps at some point then removed, 10p sized lacuer peel on the roof, chips to the bonnet, few touch ups here and there, door handles peeling, corrosion to boot handle surround, aerial base is perished

Its already had rear wiper delete, i fitted a stubby aerial, it has a stubby passenger side mirror want the drivers matching (are these sourced from lupo's/arosa's ?)

Have a look through the MK5 build threads for ideas :)

Stubby mirrors do come up for sale on here occasionally & ebay(especially .DE)

Remote CL might of been an option, you can buy a kit from Rclick that is a plug n play for about £40

Its alittle rough in places bodywork wise but hopefully that will get sorted after the build I'm thinking of changing the colour to merlin purple but i do like the volcano black as it isnt a popular colour and its pearlescent which looks good when the sun hits it but like i said its a little rough so coupd do with a blow over to bring it back to its former glory.
