I am looking to undertake a few spray jobs on my breadie and am wondering how long to leave fresh paint before I cut / wet and dry then polish ?? I have some premixed l90e alpine white in an aerosol and want to get as good a finish as i can get. I have a machine polisher to complete. Any help would be appreciated.

just be aware rattle can paint wont be anywhere near as thick as original so be extra carefull not to burn through

As Steve said, I burnt off the paint on my boot doing the same, it was rediculously easy to do, if I was you I would give some good old fashioned bit of elbow grease instead

I cut mine back on the same day and was ok. As above though, you really need to layer it on. Consider the additional expense of a few more cans to get it on thick. Alternatively use 2k from a can. Much thicker and glossier from the can but does come with health considerations as you should really use specialist breathing apparatus. People have been known not to however. Worth reading up on

If you are buying more than one rattle can (one will not go very far) be sure to get them from the same batch or you will end up with a multi-shaded car!

Preferably get them mixed at a body shop rather than off the shelf.
