Just wondering if anyone has every put a wooden style/ vintage steering wheel in a mk2? Considering one for xmas but unsure as to whether a mk2 isn't quite old enough to pull it off :/

I've seen them in mk3 and I used to have a mountney wooden steering wheel in my mk2 golf, pretty sure theyd suit a mk2 perfect fine mate :)

Yeah tempted by one on demon tweeks, an Omp one I think :) but it's a little pricey, nice but pricey.

What you reckon to the quality of those mountney wheels?

Mountney ones are lush, couldn't ask for any better quality

No brought a wheel yet, maybe for Christmas. Tempted by a mountney wheel now, not bad a price compared to the big names!
