Hi guys wondered if anyone could talk me through rebuilding my calipers and where i could pick up a rebuild kit, with fresh bolts

searched about and found a few things but still not 100%

It helps if you tell us which callipers you have.

As for instructions, it really is quite simple. the hardest part is removing the piston. Easiest thing to do if put a bit of wood in the caliper and blow compressed air into the brake line. the wood is to stop the piston shooting out and causing damage to you/your surroundings. It's then just a case of prying the seals out, cleaning any rust and putting in new seals. If you have rear callipers then the pistons need to be wound out. The main dust seals are tricky to fit but just be patient. New pistons are really essential for this as well as seals if they are rusty at all.

On the BigRed site there is some step by step pictures of how to do it, they aren't VW specific pictures but the methods the same
