Hello, forgive me I am new to this forum so if i'm posting this in the wrong place, i'm sorry!

I own a 2011 R Polo with standard Halogen headlights (which in the near future I will replace with Xenon) and i was wondering if there was any way to install the 'Leaving Home' feature, not because I necessarily need it but because its practical and looks good!

All that happens when I unlock my car currently is that the interior light comes on but I want all of them to come on when I unlock. If i can't do it myself i don't suppose i could take it to my local garage or dealership and they could help me out?

Any advice would be appreciated!

If you have access to the full version of VCDS/Vagcom it's something that you should be able to reprogram the body control unit to do

christ, how much do you think that will set me back? obviously not going to spend loads on something unnecessary

A main stealership will charge a minimum of £70+ just to connect their diagnostic kit to the car, the actual recoding should only take 10 mins

That will give you "Auto ON" function for the headlights if you don't already have it, you'll still need to have the body control computer re-coded to give you the "coming home" light function
