Late. The early ones (up to and including '85) had different rear bumpers

Hi, yeah that's right. My bumper's the longer one. It's not actually broke just got a massive split in it and the trim is missing so if you've got one you're my new best pal!

I have an early one I'm afraid. And it wouldn't be for sale due to their rarity. Just trying to help you with your search
