Hello,

I have a 2002 VW Polo S A/C 9n 1.2 AWY 55bhp (YS02 OTG) with 57000 miles that needs a little work to put it back on the road but a) I don't really have the time to do it with young twins and b) I didn't want to just scrap it! So I thought I'd offer it here as it would make an ideal run around, particularly if and as I'd expect, the folk here can do the work rather than paying garage prices etc :-)

Work that needs doing as the car is currently SORN with no MOT or TAX:

• Probably 4 new tyres.
• New wiper blades.
• Jubilee clips on both heater matrix hoses at engine side (coolant leak).
• New drivers side front coil spring.
• New drivers side strut top mount.
• Front discs and pads.
• Possibly drive belt tensioner?

Work done:

• New plugs.
• New coilpacks.
• New airfilter.

Otherwise engine is fine, runs well, clutch fine, condition inside and out is good for age etc. There's no service history though and I do have the V5!
