I have never heard of anyone using a garage to remove a badge, a hot hairdryer/heat gun and some fishing wire/dental floss will do it then some elbow grease to get rid of the adhesive. "Sticky stuff remover" from halfords is good stuff for that (yellow can).

If you have holes behind the badges depending on the car then a general bodyshop should sort it out

Thanks for the help, just wanted a smooth surface and no grooves where the badge previously was.

as said warm it with a hair dryer then some floss to slice it off

i guess any bodyshop will do for an hours labour if you dont want to bother

Think he's talking about the indent that the badge sits in. You want a smooth flush boot?

Which badge are you looking to take off? Some are glued, some have pins, the back vw badge is recessed.

If its a adhesive backed badge i used a toffee wheel! Awesome thing!
