This is very sad. I'm nearly 23 now and I'm smashing out pokemon on gameboy. I have stuff to do. Lots of work. Lots to do to the car. But I'm addicted.

For any 90s kids who are as much of a child as I am you can get these from Google play store on android for free on your phone and download all pokemon games etc.

This is after 2 days progress to show that I haven't left the game.

Yeah mate make some time lol. I'm working nights and on the railway the routine is. work at 11:00 sit around. on track 1:30 come back at 4:00 and sit around till 6:00. I need stuff to fill the gap other than munching dry cereal from the box and looking at clubpolo every ten seconds

I won't get as much time as you to play though, I'm a software developer, so I don't get much time to muck about at work. Mind you, we're getting close to Christmas now, so should be a little quieter

I'm not sure if it can be done on the emulator tbf, I wouldnt know how anyway as I have never battled a mate even on the actual gameboy. If I can you will have to get it so I can smash you on it . I have a level 34 Blaziken thing now...i think thats what it is anyway. I'm used to all the oldies

I still have got my original Gameboy from 1990. Three years ago it still worked, i should test it again.

And the saga "Final Fantasy Legend" and "FF Adventure" cost me month to solve.

That was cult these days, now the kids would laugh about it........

But i cannot throw it away........ impossible.......

I bought a Sega megadrive not long ago and started smashing mega bomberman. .still as hard as it was back then

An emulator can never be as good as playing super smash bros on N64...

Hmmmm i was not even an adult when i played these games, now i am 39.*lol*. You are 23? Then i have played these games even before you were born.... you know what that means? Right, i am old.

There were coming real paper maps and a poster on the other side with all games. I bought them in a store which imported them from another country, dunno uk or us.
I've got the originals from square soft, not the 2nd series.

That made them so rar and expensive and difficult to buy, today you make an order in another country on another continent, and two mouseclicks later it is yours......

Also in all cardridges were batteries to save the score and to continue another day, cos none of these games was playable to the end in under a week by playing a lot of hours a day.

Oh i realise these batteries will be empty now and my scores are gone....

The FF Adventure i already had before it came out in german language under another name "mystic quest" with other characters but 99% similar cos copied from FF Adventure.

Anyway, they remember me on a good time of my youth.

That old FF game looks pretty good for 1991 LOL just like pokemon but without commands which is better, all the final fantasy games I played have been just Rpg when you select attacks and opponents etc.

Dude, it was all about the Suzuki Pikes Peak car. Fuck me that thing bossed whatever you did!

Or pretty much any of the 4WD cars. Never span out in the corners. Used to stay up all night to the 100 lap endurance races with a Impreza.

Damn straight. On every gran turismo I played the suzuki escudo pikes peak was the car to save for as soon as possible lol.

Gt2 was the best apart from graphics, remember the r30 skyline super silhouette? They also had another suzuki pikes peak car which was blue...think it might have been cultus pikes peak or something.

All cars could have 'race' modifications...basically just decals and stuff. I had an FTO race car that done a few endurance races.

Thought gt3 was good graphics but a rubbish game, 4 and 5 were decent.

There they are, can't believe they stopped putting them in the games, there is also a super silhouette bluebird in real life. The super GT cars are almost what make the game to me

Also I even have a 1:43 scale yellowhat supra and the superautobacs MRS lol

I remember the Escudo Pikes Peak thing in GT. Get it to 1000bhp and set the suspension etc. right and it will do a wheelie and proceed to do silly speeds in a straight line.

I still play GT6 from time to time. The graphics have come on so far since the first one!

Yeah i remember in gt3 doing that with the suzuki following a guide to do it

Gt6 is the only one I haven't played yet, I have almost complete the rest bar the odd race or two...makes me want a playstation again lol

because of you I've been looking on ebay for a transparent blue pokemon housing and a cheap gameboy colour that needs tlc. lol. doo miss playing these games propper brings back memories when i was young
