Good evening people.

I recently decided to change from the steel wheels on my 9n, now I saw a few people running these Audi "pepperpot" and I thought they looked great so I went on ebay and bought a set, now I've ordered new tyres and everything was fine, until I saw a few people fitting spacers along with their which got me a little concerned about the fitment.

So what I would like to know is:

1. Will I need to buy spacers to clear the suspension? (I used a web app that said the wheel would sit 18mm closer to the suspension, and having a feel behind the wheel, it feels like they would fit, and as we all know, if it feels like it'll fit, it'll fit... not really) I;ll go out tomorrow with a tape measure to check the current clearances.
2. Will the standard studs fit the Audi alloys (8L0601025E), like does it take the same type of seat (also, what's the specs (thread pitch and such) for the standard studs, as I would like to get a set of locking wheel studs).
3. Does anybody know, (or would like to hazard a guess) at the torque settings for the alloys.

Wheel bolts are the same part number for both models/wheels M14 x 1.5 There are VAG locking bolts 8D0 060 119 3E***

Torque is 120Nm

You should be fine without spacers especially since you're standard height.

I had a set of these on my Skoda Fabia, which is pretty much a 9n. I used the standard bolts. Ran 195/50/15 tyres with no issues.

Still one of my favourite wheels, so light too!

Okey dokey, I won't be lowering it anytime soon anyway, as my insurance won't cover a car with modified suspension (I find this out after I take out the insurance =/)

Yea I'm getting the same spec of tyres so it seems like everything should be fine, and yea I'm surprised at how light they are .

Edit: Got the tyres on and the wheels onto the car, everything fits, and is looking pretty good =D
