I've heard that the mk3 gti golf 280mm brakes fit 6n's, but I can't find how they fit... Anyone got some knowledge on this?

you just need the carriers and discs and can use the standard callipers of your car with the standard pads and get 280mm discs.well thats what i did with my ti.you can fit the golf callipers but need different brake hoses which can be to long and rub of the strut

Pipes shouldn't rub on the struts if secured properly.

You can use the standard banjo hoses, same thread just need to hold the end while you tighten them. For what they run I would just use the golf ones though.
