Just got my first polo s 9n 2002 5door

The first thing I did was buy a set of 17inch 3sdms. Want to lower it. Any advise from someone more experienced?

Future plans:

Tints

Wind deflectors

Angel lights

Black leather seats (if I can find some)

And some pressed plates

if your wanting to lower it best way to learn is to look around this site there will be loads on lowering it

Looks awesome and should look very nice lowered,

I couldn't give a detailed answer for how you would lower it as I have a 2F but you would definitley need a special vw strut tool for undoing the top mounts, can buy a pack with every kind for all VW's for not much. I remember someone saying that they could not fit coilovers on the rears without spring compressors but then again surely the axle could be lowered onto a jack carefully with both the shocks undone. With the cost of tools unless you really wanna learn, it might be better to go to a garage

I would look in the future at the technical help pages then whatever you need help in such as Engine/Suspension/Brakes, And at the top of those pages there are FAQ's that have been pinned because 9 times out of 10 somebody asked the same question another time

If you want any help mate with anything on a 9n polo let me know pal there's not much I haven't done to mine
