Highly modified GT TD130 Golf to 9n TDi Sport

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm Steve and I am a ukmkiv's forum member.

Just sold my Golf GT TDi on Saturday:

Sold it to free up some funds for my driveway which needs doing.

So after a bit of searching for everything apart from a Polo I bought a Polo 9N TDi Sport.

2004 Indigo Blue with 16" San Marino wheels.

Picked it up Saturday afternoon.

Sunday it had an oil and filter service, air filter and pollen filter.

Needs a new tyre and needs a new aerial which are both on order.

Fixed a front offside indicator issue which involved removing the front bumper.

Noticed the bottom oil cap on the cam cover was seeping oil when running so will just fit the top cap for now and hang up the engine cover in the garage.

Plans for the future.....

Finish painting calipers

Possibly source Golf PD150 ARL Turbo and injectors for fit and remap or maybe just a remap.

However, that will be in the New Year and after I've owned the car for a while and I'm happy with everything working ok.

Got quite a bit of stone chip areas on the bonnet and bumper.

Might need to get these painted to look better. Might just do the wings at the same time.

Other than that, we shall see. It's a good little car.

Not far at all then, if you think about going to the polo show in summer we can travel up together if you want, there's a few people dotted about down here so we could have a small convoy sorted [emoj

bonjour, welcome aboard, unfortunately i'm a dinosaur and don't know a thing about cars after the millenium so can't possibly comment on your recent purchase but it's a VW so its bound to be awesome!
