Audi 80 Sport 2.0E Saloon

1994 on M reg

172000 miles but will rise as its in daily use

Genuine sport with sports steering wheel/seats/spoiler etc, all original with no aftermarket parts fitted at all. It is in a pretty good condition concidering its 20 years old, some dents/scratches but nothing too serious. The interiors in good condition too, with a little wear to the carpets and drivers seat bolster. Its in mecanically in good condion, it has never let me down, and I was concidering taking it on our annual trip to Germany we do. With these having a galvanised chassis there is no major rust anywhere, except the small patch on the front wing. It has uprated pioneer front dash speakers and 6x9s that a previous owner cut into the rear doors, but it hasnt got a radio fitted, a new one will just plug straight in and work. There was no service history when I got it, just the most recent MOT certificate, which expires 29/05/2016. The only advisory on the last were wheel bearings on the rear, not expensive or difficult to change. All in all its a very honest car which with a days work it would be a fantastic daily or project.

When I got the car it had many problems which were not described which I've fixed:

I gave the car a full oil and filter change, new plugs, new fuel and cabin filters

when I got it the temp gauge wasnt working, so to fix it I've given it a full coolant flush and change, a new thermostat and radiator, and new temp sensors.

The fuel and temperature gauges are now fully working

fixed dodgy wiring going from car into bootlid

had a leak in the boot which is now sorted

Issues:

rusty front wing

cracked rear bumper

clicking noise when turning on full lock sometimes, suspected cv joint but not had time to investigate

the exhaust is knocking on the rear axle, just needs adjusting I would have thought

the audi now has a radio, and will have a new key as the original one snapped in half. It also has been SORNd as its no longer needed as its replacement is here, therefore it needs to go, so I'm reducing it in price to £650 ONO cheers
