Hi all, i have a 1.3 mk2 polo engine which was rebuilt about 18months ago, this includes-

big end bearings,

main bearings,

core plugs,

piston rings,

I have the invoice to prove these parts have been fitted. The engine also has -

ported and polished head,

fast road cat cam,

lightened flywheel,

4-2-1 manifold custom made to fit an exhaust,

head skimmed 2 thou

the reason for the sale is because someone wrote my car off outside my house, i know the engine is mint as i was using it for my daily it could properly do with it being turned over a couple of times to get the oil up to the cam as it has been stood for about 6 months. the engine is still in the car but i plan on getting it out next weekend. if you would like to hear it running before then i would be more than happy to show you. I'm after £350 for it as the cam and the lightened flywheel cost me that alone.

the gearbox has a slight noise on idle it could just be a bearing so only after £50 for that it never failed on me and i have been down to London and back a few times.the paint on the gearbox as started to come away. its not g40 box its just a standard 5 speed.

if someone wants to take away the whole car then they are more than welcome to they could have the full lot for £450 including everything. the car has been stripped out but all the bits are still in the car. it also has vw2 and braided hoses on

thats the link its either 7606139 or 7606136 I'm not to sure mate. i never had it on a dyno but i reckon 70-80hp

Local engine shop where we get are engine parts from just give them the diameter and you local one will be able to get you some.

Yeah based in heaton chapel. It did have grey Weller wheels on and then it had a set of minilites on it.
