are they still available??

i can find 6n ones. any know if they fit?

Caps that lowered it 15mm from phil j however he's closed his shop up, funny enough some came up for sale last week that got snapped up.

The Polo spring caps are merely pressed to a specific specification, and this differs from one model, and manufacturer, to another. So it's simply a case of taking the measurements and required margins, and comparing them with others.

This is how i've done things with mine. Various parts and components on my car are from something else, but it's no more Frankenstein engineering than when a manufacturer alters a specification.

For example, my rear springs are 6n ones. But they're not, it's just that VW used them on the 6n - it's just a coil spring. It fits within certain specifications/criteria. I merely calculated what i needed and found a vehicle which used that spec to within acceptable tolerances.

Same with the Skoda Felicia rear ARB, Citroen Saxo gas struts for the bonnet, etc. Finding a top cap off another car which has a different offset, is no different to finding a set of alloy wheels from a different car with a different offset - as long as it fits and works safely.
