looking at getting one of those ebay sparco quick release, are they any good ? just proper quick releases are too expensive

I've never had one but I've watched 'haggard garage' on youtube. They say (and showed on video) that the ebay quick releases shake like mad and make your car dangerous to drive. They say it feels like you're wheel's going to come off.

Basically real or don't bother.

If I was going to cut costs from my car, they wouldn't come out of a component which could cost me my life if it fails.

There's probably a reason why the real ones are so pricey. Yes, some of that will be branding, but I'd want the thing that joins my steering wheel in place to be top drawer stuff.
