Hi everyone, I'm new to club polo, just bought a '99 polo 6n 1.4 16v.

It's going to be a slow project and it's my daily but I can't stand how high it sits stock. So basically are £150-£200 coilovers from eBay going to be a problem/will they do the job? Sorry if this has already been posted.

They will lower the car and give you ride height adjustability.

They'll also corrode easily if not looked after and ride awfully.

You get what you pay for, hence why reputable brands are £1000+

If you just want lows and don't care about anything else then the cheap eBay coilovers are perfect.

If you want any form of handling or ride quality then you have to spend a little more and you'd probably be cheaper looking at fixed height spring and shock kits.
