hello guys need some help here for a friend who has gti and want some g60 brakes in

if anyone has parts reference i need would be great.. calipers,disc etc or any info parts that i need to collect

and he has 2 set of bbs rx2 rims in 15 & 16. will these would fit ones g60 brakes installed ?

There are lots of threads on this about what parts u need. I assume it's a 6n 1.4 16v when u say GTI.

If so u can use the standard calipers and use g60 carriers and discs.

I seen a fella running 15" RX2s over g60s on edition but have never done it myself. 16s will fit no problem.

The car is mine, its a 1.6 16v AJV motor 08/99

my disk are in 259x22

For wheels i have rx2 in 15" and rs 764 in 16"so i can use 16" if neccesary.

So if i take g60 carriers and discs,braking will be really better ?

No harm but what more advice do u need. I've given you a rough idea what you need there.

Chris I assume your car is the European model with the 1.6 16v engine. I'm not sure if you'll need calipers or not. I assume not but the discs are carriers are a definite

I installed some time ago the discs 280 mm, I had to change the plate to put those in the G60.
My question if I install callipers AUDI S2 dual pistons, should I change the master cylinder?
If so by what model?
