Can I replace my 6n2's light switch with one from a 6R? will it fit?

Also, you know when old cars seats use to get really worn already and iron from inside the seat starts to pop out? is there any way to fix it or is it just broken? I'll post a picture later.

I'm afraid my crystal ball is at the menders (unforeseen accident!) without seeing what's wrong it's impossible to comment
