Anyone know what stalks fit 6n2 dash? t4 does hut expensive can get seat leon mk1 for 30 new .. and anyone know which number on ecu for alh 1.9 tdi engine

ALH engine was fitted in earlier mk4 golf and that no doubt used the same ECU so might have more luck finding the wiring diagram for that.

As for the stalks, there are not many vag ones that will be a direct fit for the polo. The polo up to 6n2 uses the early style column and switches found on the beetle for instance. Most later vag cars use the Audi style switches. You can use them, but you will need to do a good amount of modification to them.

I did something similar, or rather started doing it for the mk4 golf MFA gauges I wanted to fit into my 6n. I basicly chopped up both stalks and bonded them together so I had the golf stalk ends on the polo shafts. Seemed to work well and didn't snap off so perhaps that's an idea for you?

That said, if you Wanted to you could always get a mk4 golf column and split it at the middle where the pivot point is and attach that in the same place to the polo one. That way you can use golf stalks. I haven't done this myself, but I did do a good chunk of research about it because I wanted to use the golfs steering angle sensor but found another way of doing it.
