Questions on paint

Hey, first post, so thanks for everyone that helps in advance.

Now i need to spray some panels on my 6n, have all the parts except the paint, haven't painted for a while and i used to use cellulose.

What is the replacement for the home painter? Or is it still easy to get hold of cellulose paint?

I have done a bit at home with decent results using 2K but with this you have to make sure you have all the proper safety equipment as it is dangerous stuff, you should be able to get it from a local paint supplier or bodyshop.

Personally I would not risk painting at home this time of year unless you have a heated garage or something like that

2K is probably the best as it is hard wearing where cellulose requires maintenance to keep it looking good

You can still get celly, you're just not allowed to use it professionally except for on classics, commercial agricultural vehicles, so it's a bit hard t buy.

You can still get off your tits on it if you're using it none-commercially. So leave the windows open while you're painting.

As above they can only really sell it to DIYers so won't kick up a fuss.

eBay sellers are 9/10 legitamet paint shops that also sell online sofwill be the same

I do recommend actually going to a shop to get it though, not only is it quicker but if you have to match the colour they can get the shading just right. You will need to bring a panel (preferably a metal one) with you to do this. Plus you can ask what ever questions you have and they are usually only too happy to answer, plus they tend to know what they are talking about.

Anything I paint for myself or the girlfriend is solid colours and I use Mipa's compliant "2 pack" range. It's very easy worked with if you fancied a try.

We painted my runabout mk3 for a total of about £300 quid including spilling half a litre like a lot of things what you put in you'll get out but having painted before you'll know this

Mccann, could have used you before getting both sides resprayed [emoji20] still need the boot done and may get the bonnet done too
