My daughter has just bought a 2009 (New shape) Polo 1.2. When the garage (a Mazda dealer) handed the car over to her after taking payment they only gave her one key, saying that she could get one cut at any locksmith. Of course it isn't that simple. She has asked them to contribute towards a new key, and their response has been,shall we say, poor. She has one remote control key. My question is, did this model/year come with 2 central locking fobs or was one a conventional key?

I think the standard delivery would of been one remote fob & one normal key + possibly an emergency plastic one, Timpsons the shoe repair shop can do & code new remote fobs, not cheap but cheaper than VW !!
