Anyone know how the choke cable gets from inside to the engine bay? Obviously though the bulkhead but where?

Left hand side of the heater as you stand at the front of the car.

Yeah it's pretty close to the bulkhead when it's in situ, so it'll kinda explain itself. You have to feed it through first though, as it's too tight to bend if you fit it to the dash first. Don't worry about it obstructing the heater outlet, the pipe has a huge void in it to allow for the cable.

Is it the tiny little bung right next to where the heater box bolts to the bulkhead?

its not hard...feed the cable through the dash and you will find it
