Hi everyone

I've just got a 2004 polo 9n 1.2 and it seems that the multifunction display next to the speedo doesn't work. I have two questions;

1. Is this some kind of optional extra that maybe wasn't taken when the car was new?

2. If it isn't an optional extra, how do I fix it?

It would of been an option depending on the spec of the car, have you got the switches on the wiper/indicator stalk? if it was taken up, you can test it with VCDS/Vagcom

I have just been out to see if there are any switches on the indicator stalk and there aren't any. I'll guess the guy who bought the car was a cheapskate and didn't go for that option??

Yep, there would be an up/down rocker switch and a reset push button if it was fitted :(
