I know, but I'm only after one to get it through an MOT before fitting a G40 tank, hardly worth buying a new one, I may try patching it as a temp fix but thought if anyone had a spare I could just fit that.

You can use a mk2 tank with fuel injection too. Just block off the two bottom pipes and it is just the same. That's what I did and it works just fine.

Ah I didn't know that, so my tank from my G40 would work. I'll have to give that a go.

You can use a Mk.2 tank in a Mk.2F (with the pipes blocked off)but not the other way round if you're still running a carb engine as there are no outlets on the bottom of the 2F tank for the fuel supply and return on earlier cars.
