Volkswagen Polo 6n1 1.4 CL Automatic Low Mileage Spares or Repairs

Featured Replies

For sale is a 1996 VW Polo 6n1 1.4 CL

MOT'd until 12/7/2016 with service stamps up to 2013.

This car has been in the same family since it was brand new, and has always been cared for. Unfortunately the waterpump has failed so the car has been SORN. (New water pumps can be bought for £30). It has 47000 original miles.

Apart from the waterpump the car is mechanically perfect and has always been looked after, it has had a new starter motor fitted in the last 6 months , two new tyres, new front and rear wipers and a new battery. The waterpump would be a easy quick fix for any home mechanic but sadly I don't have the time.

The interior of this car is its real standout feature, it is immaculate, and has had a new head unit fitted so you can connect your iPod. Apart from the drivers side window not working, probably just a fuse, there is not a single issue. It also has electronic wing mirror adjustment, a rare option for this car, rear heated window, power steering and a leak free sun roof.

The bodywork is in reasonable condition for the age, it has the standard city scraps on the corners, a tiny bit of none structural rust but sadly someone has knocked the passenger side wing mirror off when it was parked recently. However they are not expensive to replace.

Although the car does start up and run, because of the waterpump it is being sold as spares or repairs, but the reality is; its only a couple of hours away from a perfect economical first car or run about. Located in Calne Wiltshire.
