6N front sidelight bulb change - HOW?

Featured Replies

Now I'm fully aware I'm not the best at repairing my car, but surely changing a bulb should not stump me.

Done searches and cant find anything. Even replaced the main headlight bulb on the off chance.

Can see the "fitment" and have even removed the electrical connector from the back, but for the life of me cannot see how to get at the bulb.

Do I have to remove the headlight itself, or can I somehow remove the fitment and get at the bulb like the dipped and main beam.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

With the plastic cover removed from the rear of the light unit, pull the sidelight holder with the connector from the reflector, the bulb (W5W) then just pulls out of the holder.

Will go and double check, but the cover only seemed to be over the dipped/main beam.

Its a square fitment that i can remove the electrical connector, but then cant seem to remove from the headlamp unit to get at the bulb.

Thanks all.

Realised what I was doing prior to the diagram.

Thought the relay box?? nearest the wing was where the bulb went.

Talk about making things over complicated for myself.

Thanks again car now has working sidelights.

Cheers
