Hi everyone

I just found a remote locking key for my mk6 2004 polo. I've replaced the battery and tried some rubbish instructions about putting the key in the drivers door and pressing the button but it didn't work. I don't know if it's the transponder that's broken. Does anyone have any advice?

If that's the key in the picture ? it's not a remote locking key, it's a torch key, the remote locking keys have two buttons lock & unlock :)
