Check out the mileage, and two owners from new with full service history. Bought it from a colleague's friend and when checked over today it had 3 tiny stone chip type spots of rust and another bit the size of half of a 5p piece. Hadnt been rub for about 3 months so change if battery and gallon of petrol and it started first turn if the key.

The patch on the sill is to cover a scratch and that all. That will be painted this week.

Cant wait for Wednesday to get it home polished, serviced and g60 steels on it.

  • Well I bought a toffee wheel and it made removing the glue / sticky pads so easy. I'm very happy with how it turned out

  • Looks great, I never see a white 6n in good condition like this. Paint looks good on the photos

G60 steels, a service and a good polish. Bought a new JVC stereo and clear front and side indicators. Not sure about the ride height yet.

I'm also thinking of white door handles, if i can find a set

Edited by volksfan1

You can always remove the door handles and get them prepped and primered ready to spray them white .

I have a set of clear indicators and side repeaters to go on today and I'm thinking of the 6N2 rear lights, are they a direct replacement or do i need to change connectors etc?

Yesterday i went all over the car with a clay bar and the amount of dirt that came off the paint was awful. Its clear that the car had been parked under / near a tree as there looks like the roof was covered in tree sap too.

Next steps are cutting compound and then a much needed detailing outside and in

Just put the G60 wheels on it. The original tool kit was completely unused, not even a mark on it.

Just need to remove the rubbing strips and wait for the correct fitting clear side repeaters as there are two types of bulb fitment - push fit, which mine isnt and twist fit, which i found out mine is.

Took the rubbing strips off. Just need to get the rest of the sticky pads off now. Looks better without them though. A nice compound and polish and it will look spot on.

good job with the toffee wheel removing the stcky s##t,your paint looks mint. Most white 6n's I've seen about are creamy color and have rust. Keep up the good work
