Scirrocco thermo-time switch

Featured Replies

Before you say yes it's for a scirocco and a long shot BUT you never know!!

As above I'm after the thermo-time switch (cold start switch) that sits in the front coolant housing just above the ht leads.

For a 1.8 8v mk2 gtx k-jet.

Needs to be from a car that doesn't have any cold start or poor running issues.

There obsolete at VW and gsf/euro car parts etc keep sending me incorrect parts and have no idea what I'm on about!

That's a bloody odd one to go obsolete. I think I've got a 924 one in a box somewhere in the shed. Don't suppose you've got a part number?

Failing that, try Andrew Page, should be available on the Bosch part number.

I had a mk2 scirocco many years ago and it had wax stat problems, is that what this is???

Nah, the waxstat problems were on the Pierburg 2e2. This is Kjet.
