It was year 2013 when it all started. I began to look some cars for sale and found this beauty for reasonable price :) I went to a test drive and bought it immediately. On the way home clutchcable broke down, but little fix later I got back on the road. Then I noticed that brakelights were on all the way home

Firstly I changed whole clutch assembly and new cable, fixed brakelight switch and door locks didn't work very well. Then I drove car to fix some rust spots but immobilizer started to monkey around and car didn't start anymore, so friend towed me rest of the way.

When rust spots were fixed and immofault was solved it was time to head mot test. Only note came from almost empty tire

Then we drove a while but it was time to stand out in a crowd with some modifications! 9x15 Banded steelies (because no money for bbs) and some stickerbombing

In the fall rear windows got tinted 35% and doors got central locking system.

After winter we decided to fix all remaining rusts and paint whole car. Also banded steelies got some paint on lips and stretched tyres 175/55.

I bought cheap 16v bumpers which needed some fixing.

Also windscreen had to replace with new. Also ordered ta-technix coilover set to get little bit closer to earth

Coilovers arrived and got installed same day. At first car was bit bouncy and still such high Also sticker found its place in the rear window, it was slow but not such low

After autumn Polo went to hibernate over winter. Firstly I refurbished gearbox with new bearings and gaskets, it kept annoying whining and rattling noise.

Then I got hold of another cylinder head and 030 AF camshaft. Head got skimmed and ported. Sad I was so excited that I forgot to take any pics from head install :/ Also ordered stainless header and bought already some stainless pipe and few bends. When header got installed I started to weld exhaust pipe from header to rear muffler. I also wasn't happy with front bumper so I smoothed it more :)

Summer 2015 I drove it like that, dropped a bit and Polo was even at the first car show :)

I bought slightly side crashed 6N2 for some facelifting. I already changed rear lights and steering wheel.

Interior is upholstered by former owner

Next thing is to install 6N2 dash (work in progress) and boot lid. I sold those banded steelies and already got some better wheels for next summer.

Front end looks evil and the smooth valver bumper kinda makes it look tough. Jealous of your leather seats.lol.Glad your getting rid of those banded wheels (wernt feeling how the rear sits too much poke) lol. Cant wait to see whats next.

Just a quick update, finally got 6N2 dash fitted, but unluckily found out that heater seems to leak.. So dash needs to be removed once again
