MOT: 10 Months

Location: Warwickshire

Price: £400

Make: VW

Model: Polo

Year/Reg:2000

Mileage: Approx 96000

MOT: 10 Months

Good points: Exterior cleans up well, with only a couple of small dents near the passenger door handle and bottom of the rear bumper. Recent new battery and 2 tyres.

Bad points: Misfire on 2 cylinders. When driven regularly (every 2 days or so), the car is ok to drive, but can play up if left for longer. It's currently running well enough to drive away, as we've been using it for the work run. We had a compression test done at our local garage and it came back ok. IMO, the car is too good to scrap, so I'd like to see it go to someone who can fix it and get it running nicely again. Interior handles are a bit worn (pictured). Could also do with a good clean inside and out, but nothing too disgusting.

Location: South Warwickshire

Hi

Any cracks on the clutch pedal box ?

Also, how hard is the clutch pedal as compared to your Scirocco ?

I will have a look tomorrow, but the clutch pedal seems fine. I know it's a trouble area on these, so I've always kept an eye on it.

I'd say the clutch was pretty much the same as my Scirocco or that the Polo is slightly lighter, but it wouldn't be by much.
