This kinda ties in with all the technical forums but ill start out on here ... not sure exactly what the issue is but i have an idea. It seems to me that when i lock my steering wheel in place when i park up that it is jamming the ignition and means i cannot turn the key fully in the ignition. This is obviously an issue with starting the car up.

Has anyone encountered something similar? or got any idea what would cause the ignition to get jammed and cause the key to stick?

I assume you're moving the wheel slightly to take the pressure off the lock before you try and turn the key?
