Please can anyone recommend which bulbs (preferably blue LEDs) are the best to use in Mk2 clocks which are the ones that twist on to the circuit board? Also the speedo sticks at zero sometimes and is freed by tapping the dash. Is there an easy fix for this?

This looks like it should work, been looking into doing this myself but not sure if this kit has a bulb for the clock?

I'd guess you have to take the dash apart to get at the needle to sort the issue out

On these clocks there are green filters behind the lighting, if you want to go blue you need to replace them with clear material.

I have done this in the plast and have used all kinds of clear plastic. You want something very thin and ideally clear. It needs to be made frosted so use so fine sand paper on both faces.

You will need to take apart the clocks to get in there, not difficult and self explanatory when in front of you. Take the filter out and cut the same shape out of the new material then re fit.

Also, because these gauges are front lit, they will never have the same effect as backlit later dials so do some research into what other people have done and how they look before diving in as personally I thought it looked crap.

The bulbs are the standard twist in dash bulbs

I don't know what your speedo needle is made of - if it is plastic, this 'fix' will not work, but I have known needles to become magnetised and stick to the stop pin due to magnetic attraction.

I have used a strong magnet, stroked over the needle/stop pin to de-magnetise them.

DO NOT place a magnet near to radio speakers or any electronic equipment.
