let me know your opinions lads and lasses

New sticker in the back window and no Polo badge - awesome.

Perhaps I need a new monitor screen or you need a longer exposure, say F11 with Kodachrome ASA400 for 30 seconds.

my bad read it wrong sorry mate. i used my phone to take the pictures iphone 6. i take it your into your cameras and stuff then 8-)

For before and after pictures you really need to take them with a similar background and in the same light. The flash on your camera has made the reflective parts of your plate and rear lights swamp the pictures. I assume you're taking them with a phone too? If not tell me what camera you're using and I'll give you some tips.

Anyway your car seems to be coming on well and it is good you're taking pictures to document your progress. Keep up the good work and maybe in another 3 months it will be different again.

Some pictures in the light would be nice as said lol but I can sort of see what has been done still and it looks as though it's sitting very nicely, well done mate. Looking forward for the updates and more pics!

Wow. That's a lot in that short period! Looking forward to the new pictures I'm a fuddy-duddy when it comes to cameras. You can do good night time shots with old fashioned camera with no flash and a tripod. Even Photoshop can't rescue camera-phone if not enough light.

Yeah it is lol good old banks lol over draft. Just gotta pay it back now which isn't a problem! I like to do things all at once if you know what I mean so it looks finished quickly lol. I'll get some pictures this weekend in the day time but unfortunately it will be from my phone lol but it shouldn't be so bad. The camera is better in the day time :)

Typical of computer screens mate. Never does it justice.

Yeah, looks good. Just out of interest, was the bonnet lacquer peeling or did you think the mattblack highlights the repainted VW badge - which it does due to the contrast?

Maybe in the sunshine next time. Vampire?

Like the ex street lamp furniture at a jaunty angle, though.

With the car in the shade, the camera will be setting it's exposure for the bright sky and in doing that your paint work will look dull, so either get the car in decent light or use a camera you can adjust the settings on to compensate for the poor lighting conditions :)

No the bonnet had loads of stone chips on it so i thought while i was getting it done anyway i had it done in matt black plastidip. and as for the badge at the front i had it done red because i thought it would stand out between the black grill and the black bonnet :) do you like the black bonnet and badge colour?? opinions wlecome lol

never been a camera man tbh. i was going to edit it on my phone but it would look to obvious and would ruin it even more! :) fair play to anyone that does it though because it does make a difference!
