doesn't matter iff there is no key or barrel as i can just swap mine onto it

Yeah, not sure if they come with the oush rod, but I've definitely seen the push lock.

can't seem to find the push lock but have found this which i presume are the white clips? http://www.gsfcarparts.com/863vg1010

I would've thought so mate.

Mine is pre-facelift and it tells me from my reg the facelift boot lock is for my car...
