Good evening guys (and Gals)

New to this forum page, though have been a Polo owner since September last year (VW Polo 9N 1.4 TDI Sport).

Bought my car as a "works" car to save putting the mileage onto the Family Hyundai Ix35. Picked the car up with 108,000 miles on the clock, for a good price. (now has 115,000)

Here she is the day I picked her up.

The only problem I have got with this car at the moment is, as the car has been stood for over 2 years, service is severely overdue, cambelt change is overdue, brake disc's and pads need changing, drivers side fog light lens smashed, but still works, and passenger rear door stuck locked shut!

Things I have done is changed out the cassette player and 6 disc cd changer, for an Alpine DAB/Bluetooth/USB headset, replaced the gearstick gaiter, two new rear tyres, and next on the cards are the speakers.

My plans for the car are to smarten it up, some subtle interior mods, a couple of retrofits (Cruise control (possibly) and Auto Headlights) possible HID conversion (using H7R bulbs) and swapping the incandescent bulbs for LED's (where possible) and possibly a Golf GTI steering wheel swap.

I've have also thought about some engine tuning (bigger turbo if possible) ECU remap and any other mods that can be done without blowing up the engine (further info on this would be greatly appreciated!)

Apologies for the long winded into, a little info on me, I'm old enough to know better, still young enough to do it, have the ability to do it (Aircraft Engineer by trade) and a father of 2 (little devils)!
