6n Passenger Side 3dr Electric Window Regulator

Featured Replies

As above, in need of a working passenger side window regulator 3DOOR. Mine works if you take the door card off and bang it but will then stop working after a while. Guessing the motor is dying.

I might have a motor, I'll check in the morning.

Are you sure it's not one of the plastic sliders on the mechanism? as you can get them cheap on ebay

The window works absolutely fine, but it'll just not work at the switch every now and then. If you take the door card off and bang the motor it'll then work again for a while. When it stops, whack it again and it's fine.

If I replace the motor does that require fiddling with the cables? As that was a ballache on my other 6n and I gave up and just bought the entire regulator on ebay. Just can't the right one on ebay at the moment!

You can replace the motor without messing with the cables, remove the mechanism so there is no pressure on the cables then remove the motor, just be carefull as you pull the motor off as they can stick to the cable drum then you'll have to try rewinding the cable onto the drum
