I need to buy some new winsdcreen wipers front and back. The ones I normally get are Bosch 16" normal style blades.

Both ECP and GSF now list aero Bosch ones for the front. Are they worth getting? Or should I keep it original spec?

I've been using aero wipers for years with no issues and mine are cheap eBay rubbish. They look neater and do a great job :)

I don't like them, I think they look odd.

Passenger side needs 16in but a 20in will physically fit the driver side. The spring in the arm isn't strong enough though, so I've gone down to 18in I think.

yeah i prefer the original look wipers on an old car , no problem getting them if you like the look

and yeah to what mikey says,,you can fit a bigger on on the drivers side

I use them because I found I could not get hold of spoiler style for the driver's side below 19". Think mine are RainX Latitudes.

19 with a spoiler should be fine, i can't remember if my 20 had a spoiler though.

I like aero wipers on modern cars but the bracket is huge on the retrofit ones and the arms curve out too much (to allow space for the sprung wipers) which makes them look weird. I've stuck with good quality non-aero wipers on mine and they work fine, and suit the car.

Proper aero blade wipers have different fitments on the arms, they aren't hooked, and the arms are straighter. I know you can fit Lupo arms on a Corrado, there's possibly something that fits a Polo or could be made to. But it's not really worth the effort.

I'm not a fan of the aero ones on an old car looks wise either, they look a little out of place.

I'll go with the traditional ones.

So what's the reccomendation? 16" passenger, 18 or 19" drivers?

It looks like I need to change the rear too. 16" on that?

16 on both passenger and rear screen for the MK2 Coupe, i can't confirm that of the 2F but the screen is even bigger on that. Different arm geometry though, so you'd need to measure yours and see how much margin you have at each side of the sweep.

16-18 to be safe for the driver side. You may find spoilered 19/20s work but yours may not.

I'm sure I put a 16 on my 2f (bready) rear and it's too large so clips the rear squirter and is useless. I keep forgetting to get a smaller one
