SEAT IBIZA WHEELS

Featured Replies

I have just fitted my seat Ibiza wheels but have a couple of concerns.

They are 6j x 15 with 185 55 15 tyres and an offset of ET38.

I fitted them without spacers first but seemed very close to my coilovers on the front so fitted with 5mm spacers to get them away from the spring and now they don't seem to sit over the centre hub by more than 1 - 2 mm. The wheels I took off were the same offset and 6j but had 195 tyres but I never noticed a problem with these rubbing with or without spacers. Also the car I lowered about 80mm front and 70mm rear.

Can I remove the spacers or do I need hub centric spacers?

You shouldn't need spacers.

Took the spacers off and seems ok. Just really close between the tyre and spring but got a 3mm thick bit of hardboard between them to check. Thanks for the reply
