6N2 GTI with BBS RX214 16x7 Et42 Spacer/tyre questions

Featured Replies

OK so I will be getting my BBS RX2's back on Saturday and will be getting 195/40/16 T1-r's fitted.

The offset is Et42 and after looking on will they fit, I have lined up the inside face to be the same as the original BBS RX 15x6's meaning that I will have to run a 10mm spacer thus making them ET32. Firstly I'm sure they wont rub as I am only about 60mm down on Spax RSX coilovers. I also have the eibach camber shims and camber bolts ready to fit.

After searching endlessly to no avail, I cant find 10mm hubcentric spacers. I have heard that you need 20mm spacers on the rear due to the elongated stub axle? and 15mm on the front? If I run 20mm on the back will this rub or shall I just run 10mm universal (non-Hubcentric) wheel spacers?

Any help would be much appreciated as I am really stuck!!

Are these the golf version of the 6n2 Gti wheels?

If so they fit fine without any spacers I have them on my 6n but with I think 175/50/16 tyres so are a little taller and its lowered 60/40 I think and still doesn't rub etc.
