And it all has to be e marked apparently

H7R 35watt i believe is the spec you want. The 'R' spec ones are supposed to be better in reflector headlamps. Honest opinion from me is don't bother with them, they light up everywhere but the road from experience. If you really want something more blue looking you can get xenon bulbs from ebay for around 7 quid, that includes the h7 dipped beam, h1 high beam and the 501 sidelight bulbs. I have a set on mine and they're a white colour, saves you money and from my experience they're much better than HID's and less hassle MOT wise.

Although H7R are better they really don't make all that much difference. As long as you make sure they are installed correctly as in the bulbs are in position as you would do with any other bulb.

One way to check the alignment is to park facing a wall with original Halogen lamps installed, mark the wall where the beam pattern is and then install your HIDs. Make sure the beam pattern is the sme if not double check the installation and adjust alignment.

Thanks for the tip Xenons
